Sunday Sketch 9/30/12

What a nice day it was today!

The weather was perfect, as only it can be in early fall.
There was a crisp day with a bright blue sky.

I went to an awesome thrift store with a friend and
got some amazing 'junk'. Then came home and made a delicious dinner.

I rushed to sketch this out while dinner was cooking for about an hour
and then took my time coloring it in after cleaning up.

Frankly, I did not notice how wonky I sketched the jam and PB jars until I posted!
Nevermind, I guess that gives it character.

I hope everyone has a great week and please don't forget to
check out some other Sunday Sketches.
I love looking at the links and try to check out as many as I can!

Take care,

It sure does give them character...I LOVE them! Wonderful page all round, Fran!! I've never had peanut butter and jam (that's what we call jelly here) sandwiches. I do love peanut butter and fresh tomato sandwiches tho...with lots of salt and pepper!

oh Fran... so wonderful to catch up here.
ok, your son's poster - FAN FUCKING TASTIC!! holy... i was impressed.
That painting of the watch... can't believe you did that while listening to Poltergeist!! i am such a loser when it comes to scary movies. Just can't do it. Even LISTENING to a scary movie would have screwed up my painting, i just know it. ;-)
And that mermaid and the quote - omg, don't you love Anais Nin? Just loved her outlook on life. Yes, hers was anything but shallow, that's for sure.
And this PB & J sketch. Just beautiful. Your work reminds me of Danny Gregory's. LOVED visiting here... xox
