Shakespeare and Sakura

Hi there, and happy Tuesday! I had off for MLK day and was grateful for the break, I was able to get somethings done around the house.... Above is an illustration I created yesterday and hash tagged #handwritingmatters when I posted it on Instagram. This is because  National Handwriting Day is Saturday, January 23 and to celebrate, the company Sakura is hosting a giveaway. All you have to do is write your favorite quote on a piece of paper (preferably using one of Sakura’s products ;) ) and post the image, using the hashtag #handwritingmatter. Sakura will choose 10 prize winners between 1/15, Fri., and 1/25, Mon. AEDM Day 2

Okay, Day 2 is down. I'm doing it:)) I used a micron, watercolor and gouache. I find that I do certain things in my art that I do with life in general...I rush, don't plan and get mixed results. Slow down and step back, Frannie!

Today was a long day and still continues to be so. Man, I wish my kid would get on the ball with his homework. Every night has to be like this? bleh. Sixth grade is tough..for mom.
